I Am.
That is the foundation of the entirety of existence. Though it seems to be a biblical statement, or one of a religious context, it is simply truth in its rawest form.
I Am is the mantra that each and every aspect of existence recites collectively.

I Am is God.

Not because He said it, but simply because it is the only expression one may utter when they seek to justify their being. It is the simplest of descriptions, and yet, simultaneously, the most profound acknowledgement of presence that can be derived from one's being.
Having an understanding of such a truth will profoundly impact every aspect of the perception you hold towards the universe, its components, and yourself. It breathes through the living and resonates through the non-living, not as spoken word, but as the underlying foundation through which all things achieve their form.
I Am is the acknowledgment that the very act of being is miraculous and complete.
For, to be, is to exist, and without being, all things would cease to exist. That is why you must choose love.

For, how can one love the light without moments of darkness that obscure it from sight? And how can one choose to hate that which allows them to love?

You may never find consistent joy or peacefulness in this lifetime, or possibly in any, but for those moments, regardless of how fleeting, that you do feel joy or peace, just remember that:
Without struggle, without pain, without hate, there would be no appreciation for peace, comfort, or love.
